Peggy's Loop

I wish I had taken some pictures, but Peggy and I have our own Quilt Barn loop that she made up when she first started riding last year. It's our favorite for hill training, and there are many barns along the route with quilt squares painted on them. So I guess I am also training in looking for quilt squares. You know we will be looking for them on GOBA.

We got hill training AND wind training today.

In my own backyard

I rode the Black River Reservation from end to end today, about a 13 mile ride.  This is a view from the steel mill end of the trail.  It was wonderful, the weather was gorgeous, and the gorge was beautiful! I got a  sunburn on my cheeks!

Great Weekend: Tomorrow is the day!

Rosie and I rode on the Metroparks trail on Saturday. ( about 15 miles ).  Today I rode on the Bur Oak Trail (about 9 miles) and Rosie rode to her brothers (about 5 miles)..  Tommorrow is GOBA announcement day!!!!

On the Road to Goba

Some of us are planning to go to GOBA in 2010. We have started our training rides already, so we are reviving our "Our Bike Rides" blog to keep a log of how we're doing. Please post the bike rides you want to share, even if you aren't planning on GOBA next year!
